Shop. Donate. Help Us Build Affordable Homes.

The Duncan ReStore is more than just a second-hand store—it’s a vital part of Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island’s mission to build affordable housing for local families. When you shop or donate at the ReStore, you’re directly supporting the construction of safe, decent homes in our community.

We sell a wide range of new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and home décor, all at affordable prices. Proceeds from every sale go straight into funding our local build projects—so your next DIY or home upgrade can help build someone else’s future.

  • Inspire companies and their employees to help build homes for those in need in the community in which they work and live.

Donations Can Be Picked Up, At No Cost To You.

Donations will be recorded and based on the donation amount, a tax receipt can be provided. Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island can recognize your organization’s total donations with a post on our website and/or your name on a plaque on our Donor Wall inside the ReStore.

How We Make A Difference

At Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island, we focus on creating a clear pathway to affordable homeownership for local families who are ready to build a better future—but who don’t qualify for traditional mortgages. Our affordable homeownership program bridges the gap between social housing, rental housing, and the open market by offering families the chance to purchase a home at fair market value, with no down payment and a no-interest mortgage.
