Donate And Purchase New And Gently Used Building Materials And Home Decor
ReStores are public retail outlets operated by Habitat, providing a wide variety of affordable new and gently used home furnishings, appliances, lighting, plumbing, hardware, building materials and supplies for sale to the general public. Proceeds generated cover operating costs and assist in funding local build projects.
Shopping at our ReStore is also an environmentally conscious decision. Through this recycling process, Habitat’s nearly 100 Canadian ReStores have helped to divert thousands of tonnes of building materials from the landfills annually.

How We Make A Difference
At Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island, we focus on creating a clear pathway to affordable homeownership for local families who are ready to build a better future—but who don’t qualify for traditional mortgages. Our affordable homeownership program bridges the gap between social housing, rental housing, and the open market by offering families the chance to purchase a home at fair market value, with no down payment and a no-interest mortgage.

Lend a hand in building stronger communities.
Volunteer With Purpose
Whether you’re helping our admin team, sorting donations, or lending a hand at events—your time makes a real difference. Volunteers are the heart of Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island, and every hour brings us closer to building more homes for families in need.
